Mia Grace is 6 month old now! Wow, how fast the time has gone by. Mia is such a little ball of fun. She is the most smiley little girl we've ever seen. She still loves playing in her exercauser but is also using the walker to get around the house now. She does a good job of pushing herself backwards but not forwards too often yet. She is now eating most 1st foods - green beans, squash, sweet potatoes, etc. She is NOT a big fan of carrots but loves bananas. Peaches make her flinch a bit because they are so sweet. Mommy & Daddy laugh with her when she's eating those fun peaches. She is rolling over both ways all over the place and loves to stand up with help. Daddy says she will be crawling for about 2 days and then will just take off running all over the house soon. Grandma Mary says if Mia is anything like her Mommy, she'll be walking by 7 months. We'll just have to wait and see! Mia also loves watching her puppy Sadie. She watches her in amazement and loves to pet her. When Sadie barks, Mia laughs. It can get pretty chaotic at times but we are loving every second of it! Mia also moved up from her old bath to a bigger blow up pink duck. She loves to kick and splash herself and Mommy & Daddy every night when she's taking her bath. It's so much fun being clean!!!

Mia Grace turns 5 months old! This month Mia has been discovering her hands and all they can do for her more and more! She enjoys playing under her Gym and LOVES her new exercauser and all the toys on it. She always seems to find the tag on anything in front of her and that is what fascinates her the most. Mia also loves to take her daily report sheet from daycare away from Mommy & Daddy and chew on it. I guess we've entered the "I love to eat paper" phase! =)
Mia is 4 months old!!! This month Mia got her pictures taken professionally. She was very cooperative but a little scared of the big camera the lady was using. We are having so much fun this summer going for walks outside and visiting Auntie Amanda, Uncle Arnie, and cousins Macy and Teagan at their farm by our house. Mia got to try some cereal this month too. She was very confused about the different texture but ate it up like a champ! She also started holding her bottle herself, with Mommy & Daddy's help once in awhile still.
Mia is 3 months old!!! This month we took a trip to Red Trail Vineyard near Cassleton and Mia got to watch Mommy and Auntie Laura stomp on grapes. Oh what fun! Daddy was very excited to learn more about growing grapes. He is very interested in trying it out soon. We'll see how that goes. Mommy is not very good at making things grow, except for Mia of course! =) Mia loves going for walks on the country roads in her jogger stroller with Mommy. We look at all the beautiful trees and say Hi to the cows, horses and other animals we meet along the way!
Mia turns 2 months old! This month Mommy & Daddy discovered the wonderful concept of swaddling!!! Mia LOVES to be swaddled and sleeps so good in her swing. We all love the swing! =) She enjoys taking baths and is trying out her Bumbo chair. She isn't quite sure if she likes that chair yet though. Mia took her first trip to Minot to visit Great Grandma Wynette, Great Grandpa Norbert, Grandma Diana & Grandpa Larry. She thought Great Grandpa Norbert was so funny - he was making her smile the whole time we were there. We also went to the ND State Fair and Grandma & Grandpa watched Mia while Mommy & Daddy went on some fun rides. Mia laughed for the first time there!
Mia turns 1 month old! This was a big month for us. Mia started cooing and smiling, watching mommy and daddy and following us with her eyes. She was super excited when her cousins Brielle and Lauren visited for the first time. They both got to feed Mia and were very excited to meet their new baby cousin!
