Here is Mia dancing to some music her toy plays. She LOVES dancing! Everytime we're in a store and there's music playing, she starts swaying and singing her own little tune!

This is Mia scooching around at 8 months old. She started crawling just 2 weeks later!

Almost 9 months!

Mia is almost 9 months old in these pictures. She is officially "on the move" - crawling like crazy!!! She started crawling at about 8.5 months and just 2-3 days later decided it was time to climb her first step! She now goes from the carpet in the living room, up the step onto the hardwood floors and she's off! She crawls great on the carpet but takes the easy way out on the hardwood - just sliding across the floor on her belly. It's so cute!

She has 2 teeth - both on the bottom - and continues to teeth. She says ma-ma-ma-ma and da-da-da-da all the time. She also loves to play with her toys while standing up against the couch.

We celebrated Christmas with the Halden side in mid-January. Heather and Paul, the girls & Grandma & Grandpa decided to get rooms at a hotel in Fargo with a waterpark. We brought Mia along and the hot tub was nice a luke-warm so we put her in her floaty and tried out some swimming. She LOVED it!!! She is officially our little fishy! Mommy & Daddy think it may be time to start some Mommy & Me swimming lessons in Moorhead! =)

Mia is staying home with Mommy today while she works because the weather is not so good. Here's what she does much of the day! Loves her Jumperoo!

Mia is 8 months old now!!! She loves talking now saying "ah - dah - dah - dah - dah..." over and over again. Dustin thinks she's saying "dada". She rolls over all the time and loves sitting up and playing on the floor with her toys. One of her favorite toys lately is a doll that giggles at her. She just loves it! She is scooching around on the floor and has a lot of fun walking with someone holding her hands. She moves all over the house now in her walker and has discovered the plant below our clock! We have to watch her closely so she doesn't eat it. =) She will stand up and hang onto the couch or chair and likes when she can stand against the tub watching us fill her pink duck with water. She gets so excited for her baths! She has been cutting teeth but her gums swell and the teeth sneak back up. She doesn't like it much but tylenol and Orajel help. Daddy & Mommy sometimes get a full night's sleep but Mia likes to wake up around 1-2am most nights. You give her a full bottle of milk and she's a happy camper. She enjoys playing in her crib on the weekends in the morning too. During the week we have to wake her up most of the time to get ready for daycare. As soon as she sees her puppy Sadie, she smiles from ear to ear and everything is right in the world! She loves playing with her cousins that live close by, Macy & Teagan. Mia could watch them play for hours and hours. Very entertaining they are! Daycare is going great - she is one of the older babies in her room now and will likely be moving up to another classroom by March. We will be very sad to leave her teachers but she'll be reunited with some of her old friends that left the baby room so we think it'll be fun for her. She loves eating her food, especially those bananas. She's a good eater and at her last check-up she weighed 16 lbs 8 oz so she's definitely growing! But Mia is still our petite little girl - happy as ever!

Mia is 8 months old in this clip. She LOVES to try to walk now. And as you can see in the video, she loves her puppy Sadie! She could watch Sadie for hours and hours and just giggles at her. We think Sadie loves the attention too!

Mia is 7 months old already!!! We had a couple friends of mine, Megan & Erin (Photos by ME), come out and take some pictures for us. They did such a great job & Mia was such a little trooper! She let Mommy change her a bunch of times and was all smiles the whole time!
