Mia was a flower girl in Mommy's friend Kallie's wedding on March 19th. She was such a good girl even though she was up much past her bedtime. Grandma Mary & Grandpa Ron came along to Minneapolis to babysit so Mommy & Daddy could have a night off. It was so much fun! These are some pictures of playing dress-up before the big day and one of Mommy & Daddy at the wedding reception!

Mia is almost 11 months old already! Crazy how time flies. We are starting to plan her 1st birthday party if you can believe it. Mia is at a very fun age now, has been for quite some time actually! =) She is standing up all by herself without holding onto anything. Then you clap for her and she falls on her bum- so cute. She LOVES to dance to music, any music at all. Daddy and I took her to the rodeo at the Fargo Dome last weekend and she had so much fun. Except now she dances with one hand in the air like a bull rider! We think that's where she got it... haha. She is talking up a storm and we have great conversations all the time now.
Mia has been pretty spoiled lately too because we have her cousins Macy and Teagan staying with us while their Mommy & Daddy are in Minneapolis having her new cousin Kinley Marie. She actually arrived today (4.1.10) at 12:35pm. We are all so excited to go there and meet her very soon! Mia and Teagan seem to have a very special relationship since they are closer in age. He has made her pretty daring lately - she's trying all kinds of new activities that she sees Teagan doing like riding the little cards around the house and even pushing them as she walks behind! It's really neat to watch them interact. And Macy is quite the little girl for Mia to look up to. She smiles every morning when she sees Macy! Macy is such a good helper to me - both of those kids are just honeys! We are very blessed to have them with us and to be able to help out Arnie and Amanda. But of course we hope they come home very soon with little Kinley!
We are also very excited to got to Minneapolis not only to meet cousin Kinley but also to spend Easter with Mia's other cousins and Aunt & Uncle - Heather, Paul, Brielle, Lauren & Carston. It will be so fun watching Mia with Carston. I'm just excited to watch them as they grow up - they are so close in age - it's awesome!
Now that the weather is nice we have been spending more time outside. Mia loves it. She laughs at Sadie when she races after her ball playing fetch. She loves going for walks around the neighborhood in her stroller. And she's also been taking some fun 4-wheeler rides after school with Macy & Teagan. All the kids LOVE going on the 4-wheeler.
Mia's daycare is still wonderful - we really like it there. They are singing all kinds of fun songs, itsy bitsy spider, bumble bee, etc. Mia can do "soooo big!", "all done!", the sign for "more" and will wave "bye bye". She is so fun. Also a new development and getting worse by the day... she is VERY clingy to Mommy. When I am in the room, she has to be in my arms or very close by. She's good when I'm out of her sight but she also tends to follow me around the house and she's a pretty quick crawler now. Little stinker.
Here are some pictures we had taken of her at Sears - supposed to be her 9 months pics. I think she was still 9 months actually, but closer to 10. Oh well. I'm always late!!! =)
